Located on a residential parcel in Altadena, California, this project consists of the new construction of a one-story single-family residence utilizing a slab-on-grade foundation. The home includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area, a utility space, and an attached two-car garage. The layout is developed to comply with current building and energy code requirements while providing an efficient and cohesive design. GAC was tasked to provide full architectural services for the project, including code analysis and coordination with the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction (AAHJ), preparation of complete construction documents, and permit processing through plan check and final approval. The scope includes coordination with all required consultants, including structural, civil, geotechnical, MEP, and Title 24 energy compliance, ensuring a fully integrated and permit-ready set of documents.
