GAC was tasked with designing a 130,000 sq. ft, 2-story, office warehouse core and shell in Jurupa Valley, California. The ceiling height for the office areas was to be 10 feet high, with the warehouses being 16 feet high respectively. With this, the total height of the building was designed at 47 feet high. The warehouse was designed with sustainable features including an insulated metal panel shell; white TPO roofing to reduce the heat absorbed by the roof; LED light fixtures with motion sensors to reduce energy consumption; and drive-in truck docks to eliminate heat losses at the truck dock doors.
