Description

Set on a large rural property in the agricultural corridor of Goleta California, this project involves the development of seven Agricultural Dwelling Units designed to support long term workforce housing and sustainable site planning. The project represents a thoughtful balance between functionality, regulatory compliance, and progressive construction methodology. Gerami Architectural Corporation was engaged to lead the technical design and engineering oversight for the full site buildout. The units are composed of two modular base models and constructed using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), a forward thinking system that enhances energy performance and construction efficiency. Our scope includes architectural and engineering review of all documentation, full MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) systems integration, Title 24 energy compliance, and Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) compliance planning. We are also coordinating closely with SIP fabricators to ensure design compatibility and permit readiness. This multiunit development highlights our firm’s strength in delivering code conscious high efficiency housing solutions for rural and agricultural communities where scale, speed, and smart design come together to serve long term land stewardship and housing needs.
