Gerami Architectural Corp. worked on the second phase of a heat pump water heater retrofit for the Lord Tennyson Apartment Complex in Hayward, California. The project focused on preparing the plans and technical documentation required to obtain approval for the new system within an existing multifamily residential property.

The scope included developing and submitting a permit application plan set with coordinated plumbing and electrical drawings for the heat pump water heater installation. The proposed equipment had to be coordinated with the building’s existing systems and the requirements of the City of Hayward

The work also included reviewing and signing the required Title 24 Certificate of Compliance forms. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services were coordinated through our MEP team, and the necessary engineering information was incorporated into the permit documents.

Services included preparation of the initial construction documents, coordination, and support for plan check resubmittals. The completed permit package fully addressed the installation, energy compliance, and technical requirements of the multifamily heat pump water heater retrofit.
